This is going to be a short and sweet post. This stub hearkens back to a simpler time. I had bought tickets for me and my wife to go see Taj Mahal. Before the concert, we went out for dinner, then made our way to the Orange Peel and just had a great time listening to excellent live blues music.
These long months of COVID social distancing and no concerts has really emphasized how wonderful it is to just go out for dinner and attend a concert with someone you love. I really miss these simple pleasures. I can’t wait for when I can have a date night with my wife, enjoying dinner and a concert. Hopefully it will not be too far in the future.
Thanks for stopping by. Stay safe, and please do your part to help us return to a happier place.
I like the fact that you only payed 1 dollar for fee’s! Thats a rarity. Hopefully life can return to somewhat normal.

If it was TicketMaster they would charge $20!

Hi Jeff. It’s all so different now. I, too miss going out to dinner and the freedom to go see some live music. I don’t know when that option will return, but it will be great when it does.

We have tickets for Alanis Morrisette. The show got rescheduled to Aug 2021. Hopefully by then 🤞🤞

It’s actually a triple bill, so Liz Phair and Garbage are also performing. Like Garbage, but I am a big Liz Phair fan. It’s worth waiting a year for this one 😉

Yes, really miss live music! My sister and I had tickets to see James Taylor and Jackson Browne who were touring together. Rescheduled for 2021. It’s worth the wait.

Nice! I saw they were planning to tour together. I have seen both of them separately. Loved JT! JB, was disappointing when I saw him. He played only political songs and seemed to be in a bad mood. Didn’t even play Running on Empty. Oh well. I’m sure he’ll be great when you see him 🙂

Oh geeze, I don’t mind a political song or two, but that sounds awful. I saw JB at Carnegie Hall back in the late 80’s. He was very good. I love his newer album, Solo Acoustic and imagine that he and JT (whom I’ve never seen) would be great together. Btw, I really like Taj Mahal too but never had a chance to see them.
